Who doesn’t love Dior? ahhh, nobody. Vintage fashion is great, especially from the times of Christian Dior dressing the starlets. Christian Dior was a master of fine tailoring, no wonder his line is crazy sick popular today… Hey, I am wearing Dior undies at the moment and loving it.
I have found the ultimate Balenciaga shoe and this is it. from a year or two back, this is the multi colored Balenciaga (balance if you can Mofo) Stiletto. From the people who love colorful accessories, the every color skyhigh heel. The good news is that it will most likely match anything in your closet, the bad… well, you may need to walk or at least try.
Just a quick note about tonight’s project runway, poor suede, no more of him talking in the third person about himself because Suede is off the runway. In a way, I really can’t believe that Suede was kicked off instead of Kenley, Her little hip hop abstraction had zero to do with hip hop. I mean come on now, when was the last time you saw Lil’ Kim with her hair in a bun and high waisted jeans?
That Project Runway Elimination challenge looked like a no brainer.
Kenley’s outfit was not only hideaous, but not even remotely close to Hip Hop other than the ugly gold she used for earings.
Judges, please!
Hip Hop is all about looking comfortable and luxurios at the same time. Kenley’s outfit was neither.
Suede’s outfit at least looked a bit Aerosmith and a bit Rock & Roll. The zipper down the front, the vest and the tightness of the thing.

Diesel has a line of what I just call street chic. Many very baggy, very casual looks. Diesel is also known for denim and shows denim on the runway.
I am not a big fan of this type of look, but it’s definitely interesting in a loose, over sized and ill-fitting kind of way. It does seem that they charge a bit extra for the designer holes in the jeans. The models below are wearing the same cut and same style called Cuddy, they are priced at around $250 for the holly jean and the diesel model below in the dark blue is $150

Haute Couture is Frech, well, of course and it stands for very high fashion which I believe everyone already knows, The word “couture” means hand working, needlework, dress making and haute means high. What we get is “high” dressmaking. Yep, Haute Couture means the finely tailored, artistic, hand sewn and the finest of garments.
Haute Couture is never a dress off the rack, it is a garment that is made for a single person to her exact measurements. Haute Couture is a garment made to fit the woman perfectly with exact measurements of every inch of her body then customized by hand to insure perfection. Since every Haute Couture garment is bought off a model them custom tailored to fit just right, we can see why the Couture gowns carry the price tags that they do. Haute Couture is not mass production, but perfection, artistry, fine crafting and high style, made for the buyer and hopefully treated as other fine art.
Luckily, for many designers, not many people can afford garments of such quality and the clients that can afford such luxury can also afford to spend a buck or two on their bodies as well as personal trainers. Thats why the gowns always look perfect and are normally fitted to the most perfect of celebrity bodies.
So here are the runway collections of the hit Bravo TV show Project Runway. I do not know who won yet, but from the pictures, we can all try to guess…

Leanne, I gotta say, I just adore her on the show and her clothing designs. She uses the best pleats and they always look so interesting. I found it interesting that she used the same colors through all the pieces.

Yves Saint Laurent also has some sky high stiletto numbers, check out these with the stars. Most likely not the shoe you want when looking for comfort. I could last… ohhh… 5 mins in those things.
The ever so popular a few years back, stripper stilettos. Wearing these crazy high heals will make you at least a few inches taller, and, I hear, these are way more comfortable than the non-platform ones. I suppose they may be, if you can dance around a pole for hours in these puppies.
