What’s the standard size for a comp card?

Even though many cards vary in size depending on the printer, most are around 5 1/2 by 8 1/2 inches (1/2 a standard sized letter page)

How many comp cards should I get made?
Depending on the market you are in and how many clients you see that number can be anywhere from 100 to 500, and I only say 100 because most printers have a minimum. Keep in mind that your comp card changes and is not something that you need to get 1000’s of to have for the next 10 years. Get the quantity you need short term. Next year what you look like may change and you may have better photos to use in your next set.

Who pays for comp cards?
You do. Just like any business pays for their own business cards. The comp card is a models business card and you should not expect anyone to pick up the cost. A comp card is an investment in YOUR career and should be treated as such… last I checked… garbage in = garbage out.
