Socialite Nicole Richie will be launching her hippie-luxe clothing line this spring named Winter Kate after her daughter Harlow’s middle names. The range of the collection is very comfortable to wear while being quite aesthetically pleasing which stays true to Nicole’s personal style.
Nicole talks about her collection, “I 100 per cent designed everything. Colours, cuts, fabrics. I would never put my name on something I wouldn’t wear myself. That’s why it’s taken me this long to have my line come out. I do respect designers that go in it for the long haul and don’t do things that are trendy. I’ve always been one to dress for comfort. I’m not one to wear something that I don’t feel good in. Comfort was really important for me, especially doing a spring line. For me, I really don’t like to feel like I’m wearing anything.”

The Winter Kate Spring 2010 collection will include approximately 40 vintage-styled pieces with soft, flowy silhouettes from leather jackets, tunics, and kimono tops to lingerie, maxi dresses, and mini dresses with model Vanessa Traina showcasing the collection.
She tells USA Today Newspaper,
“Everything is extremely affordable, and that was important to me, to have these pieces be accessible to everyone.”
The collection will be ranging from $68 for a tank top to $1,372 for a suede vest available next month at select high-end stores including Bloomingdales.
