Eniko Mihalik

In the March 2010 issue of Harper’s Bazaar US, 21-year-old Hungarian cover girl Eniko Mihalik of Elite Models, who recently appeared in an editorial for Vogue China by Alasdair McLellan, is featured in an editorial entitled “Global Warming” where she portrays a military-like scientist attempting to prevent global warming. Shot by photographer Peter Lindbergh, Eniko is set in a desert-like area equipped with all the tools she would need from solar panels and bio diesel to oxygen tanks and test tubes. Eniko would be the most chic scientist in an Aquascutum trench with Sportmaxx booties, a Jil Sander dress and belt, Blumarine jacket, shorts, and sandals, Marc Jacobs belted jacket, sweater, and bloomers, and Jean Paul Gaultier top and skirt. My favorite look is the Jean Paul Gaultier cutout top and army green skirt combining chic and military without looking like costume attire.

Presenting this spring’s hottest pieces in Harper’s Bazaar US March 2010 is 31-year-old Estonian cover girl Carmen Kass of Silent Models, who recently renewed her contract with Michael Kors, in an editorial entitled “The New Shapes” shot by photographer Camilla Åkrans. Set in a gorgeous European-style mansion, Carmen showcases designs by Michael Kors, Alexis Bittar, Robert Lee Morris, Chanel, Eddie Borgo, Calvin Klein, Kara by Kara Ross, Ongwat, Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Lanvin, Anton Heunis, Tom Binns, and Yves Saint Laurent just to name a few. I am in love with the yellow Versace bodysuit and skirt with silver panels having an extremely low cut back with the most spring-felt Versace platforms.

The March 2010 issue of Harper’s Bazaar UK features an editorial entitled “Blue Plant” starring 17-year-old Russian newcomer Anastasia Kuznetsova of Next Models shot by photographer Mark Pillai. Styled by Vanessa Coyle in a red rock valley of hills, Anastasia is shown in shades of blue by Burberry Prorsum, Ralph Lauren, Yves Saint Laurent, Hussein Chalayan, Haider Ackermann, Proenza Schouler, Michael Kors, Stella McCartney, Gucci, and Alexander McQueen. Anastasia looks like she is the blue princess on a new, red planet with an amazing sense of style.

For the magazine’s monthly What’s Next spread, the March 2010 issue of Harper’s Bazaar US features 36-year-old Canadian supermodel Shalom Harlow of IMG in her gorgeous curly locks. Shot by photographer Glen Luchford in a ten-page layout, Stylist Melanie Ward showcases Shalom in this spring’s trends of denim, pattern, and neutrals by designers Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci, Ralph Lauren, Hermès, Versus, Alexander Wang, Yves Saint Laurent, Tommy Bahama, Chloé, Louis Vuitton, Moschino, Dior, Etro, Eres, and Roberto Cavalli. In this casual and classy layout, my favorite look is simply the pale green Chloé top and black Chloé shorts with a long, thin, silver Hermès necklace reflected in the mirror being very classic and glamorous.

On the cover of the March 2010 issue of Harper’s Bazaar US is 36-year-old British supermodel Kate Moss of IMG shot by photographer Peter Lindhberg. The cover shoot shows her up close and personal, lounging on a sky blue chair, having afternoon tea, a cigarette in her mouth, and in bed with none less than two men.

In the magazine, Kate revealed that she doesn’t consider herself a fashion designer. Kate said, “I’m not really a fashion designer. I just love clothes. I’ve never been to design school. I can’t sketch. I can’t cut patterns and things. I can shorten things. I can make a dress out of a scarf.”

About this shoot for Harper’s Bazaar she said, “It was with Peter [Lindbergh], and it was so much fun. He was absolutely hilarious. Peter is old-school. There aren’t many around like him anymore who really know how to take pictures. There’s him and Patrick [Demarchelier]. He really knows, and he makes it look so easy. I’ve known him since I was 18 and worked with him for Bazaar. He’s into older women, and as I get older, it gets better. He’s not into little girls. Now that I’m older, we really talk and hang out. It’s great to catch up, to grow up and be able to talk to people who used to see you as a little kid.”

Along with all her successes in the fashion industry, the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris will be staging a major exhibition on Kate’s height, body, spirit, and the impact she has had on the fashion world to premier spring of 2011.

The highest paid British supermodel 28-year-old Jacquetta Wheeler of IMG, who recently appeared in an editorial in Amica Italy by Stefano Moro, is featured in the cover shoot for the February 2010 issue of Harper’s Bazaar Russia shot by photographer Marcin Tyszka. Styled by Natalia Alaverdian, Jacquetta is shown with a sleek hairdo in a light Dior baby blue floor-length dress, a shimmering black Dior mini trench, and a tan Dior trench. Standing on top of a couch, fallen at the bottom of a pile of chairs, and running down the stairs are all apart of this flawless fashion forward ten page cover shoot with my favorite look being the black Dior mini trench.

My fave sets of Juliane must be the artist inspired ones. She posed for a set of pictures that recreated various art pieces with her.
