The red carpet always brings out the hottest designer gowns and sometimes even the dowdiest “what the f” looks, but no matter what, every year we see red on the red carpet and usually it’s very glamorous. Heidi Klum looks like a million in this gorgeous red gown by John Galliano, she wore for the Oscars in 2008.

Nicole Kidman is as glamorous as ever in all red

Katherine Heigl is red hot in Escada

Anne Hathaway in Marchesa red

Sarah Jessica Parker, not at the Oscars but a red carpet of some kind wearing what looks like an Irish plaid tablecloth, maybe the red carpet was stained with dog pee as well? This is a what the hell was she thinking? moment.

Nicole, always the picture of Hollywood glamour

Ruby Dee in red, but very age appropriate and quite hot

Who doesn’t love Dior? ahhh, nobody. Vintage fashion is great, especially from the times of Christian Dior dressing the starlets. Christian Dior was a master of fine tailoring, no wonder his line is crazy sick popular today… Hey, I am wearing Dior undies at the moment and loving it.

I was browsing through a bunch of handbags that I clearly can not afford and I found a black handbag from the Valentino 2008-2009 collection that I just adore.

I love how the leather pattern forms a rose. Actually, it seems like bows and roses were in the spotlight for the 2008-2009 fall/winter Valentino purse collection since most of the bags had one or the other. Yep, the hand bags are pretty awesome, well most of them, but very expensive as well. As much as I love the bag…. yikes, its a few grand to own it…$2495 to be exact. Check out some the rest of the Valentino 2008-2009 handbag and shoe collection… and yes, you can but them all here
BTW… this is an awesome shoe, and yes, it also has a bow to go along with the handbags

Who would have thunk it, Jerell finally won a challenge and we lost Terri and the tan deprived Blayne.
Luckily for Blayne, he can now regain his health in the tanning booth.
The losing outfits were just horrid, but then again, this was the most disappointing runway show of the season.

Poor Blayne, his creation there of the lop-sided 1/2 cream and 1/2 neon fabri-icky mess. I believe “pooping fabric” was what Michael Kors said about it. I also must mention that Stella’s influence in the design is clear… those horrid black straps are all Stella.

Anyway… can’t wait to see the new episode of Project Runway this week.
So here is another really cutting edge (literally) Margiela Fashion Show. The theme is Under Construction, I think. The models got rolled out in steal cages by male models in black. The clothes on the models were unfinished and many of them were still attached to the bolts of fabric. Accessories were also made of things like caution tape.
