The March 2010 issue of Marie Claire UK features a layout starring 27-year-old Canadian True Blood star Anna Paquin, who won an Oscar at age nine being the second youngest actress to receive the award, shot by photographer Frederic Pinet set in a supermarket. Making the supermarket look fashionably chic, Anna is shown in a stretch Viktor & Rolf tulle and sequin dress with Pierre Hardy suede and Swarovski crystal sandals with a full shopping cart in the produce section, a Chanel tweed dress with Gianvito Rossi nylon shoes in front of a mountain of bottled water, Prada Plex Crystal dress and cotton top with a satin and Plex Crystal belt in the candy aisle having a Red Vine in mouth, Lavin blue silk dress under a red silk dress with black Jonathan Kelsey leather shoes holding a bouquet of balloons, a Josh Goot silk dress with Rock and Republic leather shoes leaning against the snack aisle, stunningly poised in an Alexander McQueen silk chiffon and diamante dress in front of the meat freezer, and looking intense in a Salvatore Ferragamo silk dress and Christian Louboutin studded leather shoes next to a tower of Duraflames. I really enjoy this layout of Anna showing her in a ‘normal’ everyday setting in an array of fabulous dresses with Viktor & Rolf tulle and sequin dress being my favorite.

Having already won seven Emmy Awards, three Golden Globe Awards, four SAG Awards, and four Writers Guild Awards, 39-year-old comedic actress, writer, and producer Tina Fey is featured on the cover of the March 2010 issue of Vogue US with New York City’s skyline in the back. In a surprising black-and-white image, Tina is showcased in black hot pants, black evening gloves, and Mickey Mouse ears to hit all middle-aged women’s closets this season according to Vogue.

On being an icon for female normalcy, in the magazine, Tina says, “I feel like I represent normalcy in some way. What are your choices today in entertainment? People either represent youth, power, or sexuality. And then there’s me, carrying normalcy. Me and Rachael Ray.”

About America’s troubling weight issues, She says, “People will say, ‘Oh, fashion magazines are so bad, they’re giving girls a negative message’—but we’re also the fattest country in the world, so it’s not like we’re all looking at fashion magazines and not eating. Maybe it just starts a shame cycle: I’m never going to look like that model, so… Chicken McNuggets it is! And conversely, I don’t look at models who are crazy skinny and think I want to look like that, because a lot of them are gigantic, with giant hands and giant feet.”

Like us all, Tina talks about wearing hand-me-downs in grade school saying, “[The Halloween costume] consisted of a bonnet and a burlap apron and a long skirt. And I would just wear it sometimes after school. As an outfit… It was the Bicentennial! People were excited!”

Shot by photographer Mario Testino is 26-year-old British cover girl Agyness Deyn of Viva Models, who recently appeared in an editorial for Vogue Italia by Steven Meisel, and 32-year-old Pirates of the Caribbean actor Orlando Bloom for Me & City’s spring 2010 campaign. In a simple campaign full of smiles, Agyness and Orlando are shown in usual life scenes of trimming the bushes, picking up dry cleaning, reading a book, eating at a restaurant, hanging out with their dogs, shopping up a storm, cooking in the kitchen, playing with fireworks, sitting at the trunk of a car, with a bundle of balloons, at the market, and even getting out of the car. Agyness and Orlando show a lot of chemistry in this positive campaign showing that models and celebrities live a normal life like us all.

Doing her part in efforts for Haiti relief, 17-year-old Miley Cyrus has put the short, teal-colored Hervé Leger dress she wore to the Grammy’s this past weekend in Los Angeles on eBay.com to be auctioned off. The money raised from the auction will be donated directly to Haiti relief.

Miley told USA Today, “I’m going to auction it (the dress) off on eBay for the Red Cross. It’s the little things you can do. I think it’s really important that everybody come together because disaster relief isn’t just now. It’s how we’re going to help years from now. We have to restore an entire place. It just can’t be one person, one foundation, one group of people. All people have to come together.”

Other than auctioning off her Grammy dress, Miley will be joining Quincy Jones, Lionel Richie, and others to re-record “We Are The World” for a Haiti benefit charity.

Attempting to raise money to help the Haiti relief, actress turned designer Lindsay Lohan is lowering the prices of her leggings for a limited time and donating all the proceeds to Save the Children, the leading organization working to improve the lives of children in need in the United States as well as around the globe.

Lindsay told People magazine, “It is truly horrible what has happened to the people and children in Haiti. I believe every company should do their part to help by donating what they can. Please help us do our part for the Children of Haiti by purchasing this 6126 legging. I am proud to announce that we are giving 100 per cent of the proceeds to Haiti’s children through an organization I am passionate about, Save the Children. ‘Fame’ leggings will retail for $65, originally $90, for a limited time only to help the victims of the earthquake in Haiti.”

Not only being extremely talented, Academy Award-winning actress Sandra Bullock donates to charities from the goodness of her heart and not for the publicity. Aside from her recent $1 million donation to Haiti relief, who recently suffered from a terrible earthquake this month, Sandra has teamed up with luxury fashion brand Coach to donate profits to the Beauty Bus Foundation, a California-based non-profit group dedicated to improving the quality of life for the terminally ill. A percentage of the profits of her two favorite Coach bags, the Madison Leather Hippie and the Kristin Leather Tote, will be donated to the Beauty Bus Foundation.

According to the Beauty Bus Foundation Co-Founder and President Alicia Liotta, Alicia told People magainze, “The project was put together by Coach and Sandra. It was an incredible surprise and is a gift to the Beauty Bus Foundation.”

Grace Jones has always been known for her unique style and sometimes outrageous look. This time, I’m not really sure what she was thinking.

In the past, Grace Jones was known as a trendsetter and popularized the androgynous look of the 1980′s. She also has credit for giving rise to the “flat top” trend in the same decade.

Grace was photographed exiting her car wearing an outfit that can best be described as grandma Helen meets beekeeper in 1985. Sorry Grace, your new look… not so edgy.

Ashley’s unruly updo paired with gaudy “bride of Frankenstein” makeup just makes the Valentino lace dress she was wearing appear to be more “kitchen curtain” than high fashion.

Unfortunately, that dress would probably look stunning… on someone else.
