In an editorial entitled “Rebel Princess,” the 26-year-old Dutch supermodel Lara Stone, who recently walked in the Givenchy and Chanel couture shows during Paris Fashion Week, shows her tougher side shot by photographer Philip Riches. Lara shows her inner rebellion with black fingerless gloves with spikes, a black bikers hat, a leather band with large metal spikes on her thigh, a black leather jacket, and even with a cigarette half falling out of her mouth. I love this shoot because Lara already has a mysterious look to her and she makes the rebel style sexy and feminine.

To introduce the first looks from the spring collections, the February 2010 issue of Vogue Paris is dedicated to a massive editorial entitled “Vogue-à-Porter” shot by world-renowned photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. With art direction from Carine Roitfeld, Emmanuelle Alt, and Camilla Nickerson, the editorial stars 32-year-old supermodel Bridget Hall of One Management, 22-year-old American model Dree Hemingway of Elite Model Management, 22-year-old Danish model Freja Beha Erichsen of IMG, 26-year-old Brazilian model Raquel Zimmermann of DNA, 21-year-old Dutch model Anna De Rijk also of DNA, 26-year-old Dutch supermodel Lara Stone also of IMG, 26-year-old Brazilian supermodel Isabeli Fontana of Storm Models, Belgian model Tanga Moreau of Models 1, 39-year-old British supermodel Naomi Campbell also of IMG, 42-year-old American model Talisa Soto of Click Models, and 26-year-old Polish supermodel Daria Werbowy also of IMG in designers such as Balmain, Miu Miu, Oscar de la Renta, Christian Dior, Celine, Louis Vuitton, Etro, Donna Karan, and Hugo Boss.

Already being the face of Louis Vuitton this season, Lara Stone is fronting the French brand Eres’ swimwear 2010 campaign shot by photographer Camilla Arkrans. The blonde bombshell showcases the swimwear stunningly with her gorgeous, curvaceous body with a slicked back hairdo to better emphasize these skin-tight suits.

With the news of Lara Stone replacing Madonna for the face of Louis Vuitton, the spring/summer 2010 collection features a Bridget Bardot-inspired campaign shot by photographer Steven Meisel. “After our successful collaboration with Madonna, we are very happy to be working once again with Steven Meisel on the Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2010 fashion campaign,” says Artistic Director Marc Jacobs. “Because the collection loosely took its cues from the idea of the New Age traveler, we decided to create a green, outdoorsy set that would evoke a spirit of peace and love. To model the clothes, we wanted a modern, iconic, sexy beauty… It had to be Lara Stone.”

With Lara posed on a bed of moss and ferns surrounded by white doves, this tranquil setting of a cool, fresh background brings relief in the vivid colors of metallic Monogram canvases, sun-bleached Monogram denim bags, furry foxtail charms, hardware-inspired jewelry, and wooden clogs embellished with rustic tufts of fur. Antoine Arnault, Head of Communications for Louis Vuitton, said, “This is a very strong campaign, reflecting the vibrant, optimistic mood of the Spring/Summer 2010 show. We are delighted to continue our partnership with Steven Meisel, and to welcome Lara Stone as the voluptuous new embodiment of the Louis Vuitton woman.”
